It was the first Japanese club that made most of the Germans, including me, realised that Japanese football also had fan culture like Europe: they had ultras with their own banners, flags and chants. Almost everyone in Europe, especially Germany, watched the video of Sendai’s legendary away support in Yokohama in 2009. But it was also a club, that became famous because its tragic history.

[En] Sapling Cup: Southern – Tai Po FC
Our destination was not to the shopping district in Mongkok, but somewhere slightly outside the crowds. After crossing streets of bars and restaurants, we came to a sportpark, and behind it you would find the wonderful Mong Kok Stadium.
[En] BGL Ligue: US Mondorf – FC Victoria Rosport
Since our way back home from Elversberg to Trier was partly closed, we decided to drive via Luxembourg instead of following the official detour. We actually planned go to Mondorf before we knew the Autobahn would be closed, but anyway, we drove about an hour to the Southeast of Luxembourg to watch another BGL Ligue game.
[En] Regional League: SV Elversberg – KSV Hessen Kassel
After the disappointing weekend in Steinbach, we were back in Elversberg for the home game against KSV Hessen Kassel. Weather forecast said it was 14 degrees when we left to the stadium and it was right, it was warm and sunny! It has been a while since we could have a beer instead of a Glühwein.
[En] Regional League: TSV Steinbach – SV Elversberg
This weekend we travelled to Steinbach in Haiger with Elversberg amid the carnival week! It was an almost four-hour-bus-ride until we arrived in our destination which was located between Gießen and Siegen.
[En] Regional League: Eintracht Trier – SSV Ulm
As the Regional League resumeed after a two-month winter break, we decided to visit the Mosel Stadium again on a sunny Sunday. We didn’t plan anything big for the coming two weeks as we have to save money for our big trip in March!
[En] Regionalliga: SV Elversberg – FC Homburg
After a loooong winter break, the Regional League finally started again; For Elversberg, it started with a Saarland derby against FC Homburg at home.
Elversberg finished at the top of the league before the break and they were expected to shine against their rival who had just lost to Eintracht Trier in a re-scheduled match three days before the derby day.
[En] BGL Ligue: Jeunesse Canach – Union Titus Pétange
So, a day after the Differdange derby, we went to Luxembourg again to watch another first league game in Canach, a little village just about the River Moselle.
The drive was very simple: exit Trier, follow the Moselle towards the south;The view was really nice, with uncountable Vineyards along the Moselle, with Germany on our left and Luxembourg on the right, just across the river.
[En] BGL Ligue: Progrès Niederkorn – FC Differdange
When we were searching for games we could go this weekend, we found that the winter break in Luxembourg would be over and the Ligue would start again, so we decided to spend the weekend to watch two games in Luxembourg.
[Eng] 2nd Bundesliga: SV Sandhausen – Erzgebirge Aue
We haven’t been travelling a lot since the new year started. As the football leagues in Germany are slowly starting again after the winter break, we decided to go to Sandhausen last Saturday as our second trip this year.
